Cellucity will be releasing the Samsung Galaxy A51 with the Samsung Galaxy A71 following in the second week of February. Cellucity has revealed the specifications of the two new A-Series models coming to South Africa.
At launch, the Galaxy A51 will be sold with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The Galaxy A71 will have 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The Galaxy A51 will be available on contract from R399PM on a 24-month contract. Contract pricing for the Galaxy A71 will begin at R499PM x 24 OR R399PM over a 36 months contract.
The Galaxy A51 and A71 both have quad-lens rear camera systems with Depth, Main, Ultra-wide, and Macro sensors.
The Depth (5MP), Ultra-wide (12MP), and Macro (5MP) sensors are identical on both devices. On the Galaxy A51, the main sensor is 48 megapixels (MP), while the Galaxy A71 has a 64MP main sensor.
Both phones have “Infinity-O” AMOLED screens with resolutions of 1,800 x 2,400 pixels. They also have on-screen fingerprint scanners, facial recognition, and support microSD cards of up to 512GB.
Aside from the main camera sensor, the major differences between the two devices are their physical size, battery capacity, and processors.
